In my experience, out of the many people who follow our blogs :
– Only 20% ‘like’ the content we post
– Only 5% actually read what we write
Bloggers on high horses :
There are certain bloggers who post regularly and I ‘like’ their posts, but they don’t ever stop by my blog and ‘like’ my posts as well.
What frustrates me even more is that they ‘like’ posts of other people I follow. What prejudice do they have against me and my posts?
If someone is taking the time to press the like button, irrespective of whether they actually read your posts, the least you can do is show mutual support and ‘like’ their posts as well.
Judge only if you’re perfect :
Till a few months ago, I used to silently criticize what people wrote, especially when their english was bad and their posts didn’t make any sense at all.
I soon made myself understand that I am nobody to judge – I may be a master blogger who has a following going into thousands, but I still have no right to criticize others.
People write to express themselves, whether what they express makes sense or not, it doesn’t matter – we should support them, especially if they support us.
P. S. I know that this post may seem really petty, but I’m highly sensitive and this bothers me a lot.
A big thank you to those of you who ‘like’ my posts, and a bigger thank you to those of you who actually read what I write, it means a lot.
Thank you for reading! Stay blessed!
