I have observed something really strange, or maybe it isn’t that strange afterall.

I read posts of certain bloggers and I realise that their english isn’t that good (I’m not saying that my english is perfect), and I appreciate their efforts of writing in a language that isn’t their mother tongue.

But then they soon upload a post which has impeccable english, so much so that it even has words which weren’t in my vocabulary. And that makes me wonder, like it would make any overthinking introvert wonder, HOW DID THEIR ENGLISH GET SO GOOD IN SUCH A SHORT TIME?

But wait, wait. They soon upload another post which has the same bad english as before. And this goes on and on, a few good english posts and a few bad ones.

Doesn’t this seem a little fishy?

Then I start wondering :

1) Are they copying content from a book or another site and sharing it with the blogging world, making others believe that it was written by them?

2) If so, shouldn’t they give credit to the original author.

3) Don’t they realise that plagiarism is a crime?

4) Why am I even bothering about this?

P. S. I’ve surprisingly decided to enable commenting on my blog, so do share your views about this delightful topic if you’ve observed the same.

Thank you for reading! Stay blessed!

    1. Hehe yes! What can I say, I’m a confused overthinker! πŸ˜‚
By the way, thanks for commenting. You have renewed my faith in humanity. 😜

            1. Oh no! I’m really sorry to hear that. πŸ˜”
I was mentally abused by a narcissist I dated, so I totally understand what you went through.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?

                1. Oh no, don’t get used to pain, you’ll be too depressed before you know it. Been there, done that.
Go for therapy if you need help, but don’t bottle up the pain.

                    1. Hehe okay. You’re not depressed, Bharath. 😁
But therapy isn’t that bad you know, it made me realize how awesome I am. πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚ I’m kidding, I am not obnoxious. 😁
Again, distracting yourself is dangerous. I learnt that from The Power of Now. Look deep within yourself and heal your pain. (I sound super philosophical right?)

                    2. Oh you don’t sound philosophical, you’re falling into the spiritual pit.🀣
I read that book but what I learnt from reading self help books is that they seldom help.
But tell me more, I’m all ears.

  1. Hehehe exactly, they don’t always help. But they do help sometimes. 😁
I started reading that book one page a day, and then I stopped and picked up another self-help book. Now both those books are sitting on my table, waiting to be read to completion. πŸ˜‚

    1. You’re all about self help, eh?
I like it when you go on rant rampage! Keep it up. I stopped reading self help because they give false hope.
Positivity is good but it’s available in excess which is bad. I hurt my leg, it’s bleeding what’s positive about it? That I didn’t lose the leg? A little reality check and precaution before would’ve avoided the accident altogether!πŸ˜‚
      I’m one depressing guy.🀣

      1. Oh no no. When I was healing from depression, I read a lot of motivational quotes. They really helped with my anxiety before I went for therapy. So then I decided to start posting motivational quotes on Instagram, in order to help those suffering from depression. Writing happened by chance, I never really knew I could write well.
And so I started this blog with the same intention, to write self-help posts. And then there were folks who started asking me about my weight loss journey and I got bored repeating the same thing over and over again, so I wrote weight loss posts, so I could just tell them where to read it. And then I started posting about music and then rants……. You get the gist. My blog is a mixture of everything possible. πŸ˜‚
(I write essays, not comments. Hehehe.)
I get depressed and sarcastic as well, I guess everyone does. 😁 It only matters what you let take control of you, the positivity or the negativity.

        1. I love reading essays occasionally as long as they keep me interested. I see that you came a long way from what you once were and I’m not gonna ask you how you lost weight (it’s tempting though because I like to annoy people). I get the gist, yes and so is my blog, a mix of everything, the only difference is mine doesn’t make any sense.
The reasons for which I started this blog and why it continues to exists are two entirely different things.😊
Coming to sarcasm, I’m sarcastic as hell and it sometimes gets offensive as not many people get it.
I let negativity take control and I over think.πŸ˜‚

          1. Oh I see. I would love to know both reasons, why you started and why you continue to post. Hoping to read a post about it soon. ☺️
Oh boy, I think you need a dose of Echart Tolle. Or else a stint in the Himalayas? 😁
I like sarcasm, as long as it’s not aimed at me. πŸ˜‚

            1. A post about it? Nah it’s not worth it.
I started it for my ex and continuing it for wholly other reasons. I don’t want Eckhart Tolle, leave me out of this.🀣🀣🀣 I’d love to see Himalayas though.
              Don’t worry I’m not offensive unless I’m offended.😜

              1. Just imagine a few years from now, or decades, or whenever it is you decide to get married, your new wife asks you why you started your blog? What would you say? “It was for my ex darling, always was and always will be.” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
(I laugh at my own jokes.)
If I ever meet Echart Tolle, I’ll send him straight to you. You need a dose of enlightenment. πŸ˜‚ And in the Himalayas, the sacred sadhus would do the same to you. (Although I haven’t confirmed whether they’re actually there.) πŸ˜‚
Hehe okay, that’s good to know. You’re sarcastic like Chandler, eh? Chandler’s sarcasm is the best! 😍

                  1. Yes, honesty is important. Many foolish guys, who eventually get dumped, learn it the hard way. 😁
You write really well, so I’m sure your blog will last much longer than you anticipate. ☺️
And how do you know that sadhus are there if you haven’t been there? πŸ˜‚

                    1. No no. I wasn’t insulting you, I was just giving you the reason why I dumped my exes. πŸ˜‚ That’s why I said that it’s good that you’re honest. 😊
Oh wow. Really? You wanted to be a sadhu?

                    2. So you did you research when you were a kid, right? How do you know that the sadhus are still there? (I love annoying people as well.) πŸ˜‚
Yes, exes. Stop judging, you saint. 😁

                    3. Hahah! The fight is on, girl!
I did my research by watching multiple south Indian films and reading websites. I was 17, so call me a semi kid.😎
                      I’m not judging! Shush!πŸ˜‚

                    4. Semi kid. *face palm* You were a confused teenager, like all of us were at that age. 😁
Okay see, you are an atheist because you haven’t seen God or witnessed His blessings, correct? In the same way, how would you know that there are Sadhus if you haven’t actually seen them? 😎 It is because you BELIEVED the articles and the movies. You had FAITH in them. 😝
Oh and you’re not judging huh, liar! πŸ˜‚

                    5. I’ve seen pictures, okay? I wasn’t confused! I loved giving up on worldly possessions maybe because I didn’t have any.
How can I judge you when I can’t even judge myself, huh??
                      (Damn this is fun!!)

                    6. Okay, okay. Calm down, boy. Don’t snap. πŸ˜‚ I believe you, there are Sadhus and I hope and pray that you meet them someday! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
Wow, Bharath has now become philosophical himself. He has fallen into what he called “the spiritual pit”. I wonder how long he will last in there? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

                    7. Hehehe I’m sure I won’t get out of it anytime soon. I may sometimes come up for breath, exhausted by the never-ending need to be optimistic (like today), but I will still remain in the spiritual pit. It’s changed my life for the better. Although I’m glad to meet people like you, who could have been Himalayan sadhus! 😁

                    8. Hehe don’t worry, all in jest. It’s fun annoying you. (Even though I just started speaking to you.) πŸ˜‚
I will always try my best to renew the spiritual spark in you. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

                    9. Hehehe yes this is fun! 😁
I have faith that you will become positive by reading my awesome posts! πŸ˜‚
Who knows, you may be the next monk who gives up your Ferrari. πŸ˜‚

                    10. If you have to go live in the Himalayas, you will have no choice but to sell your Ferrari, unless you plan to gift it to me. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚

                    11. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Two laughing emoticons mark the end of a very delightful conversation. 😝😁

Nice to meet you, Mr. Bharath. See you soon! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

  2. Oh dear!
Is it really happening here 😀

I’ve kept myself completely aside from other demotivating ‘Social-Networking Sites ‘ and been active here way too much considering
Bloggers are quite Genuine and Intellectual people to interact with .

And now I get to hear about Plagiarism and stuff πŸ˜“

    1. No Abhi Jeet, bloggers aren’t all genuine.

On my last blog I came across bloggers who made fake blogs and impersonated other people. Very weird, right? Who has the time to do all this?
And the hatred on this platform, like all social media, is overwhelming. That’s why I kept commenting off till now, I didn’t want to deal with the haters again.

But then there are wonderful, genuine bloggers as well, like yourself. ☺️

So sometimes it’s best to ignore the negativity. 😁

      1. Where actually has the world come to ? πŸ˜‘
This is so disheartening to hear.
        I’m going Cold now πŸ˜“

Anyway, heartfelt thankful for considering me GoodπŸ˜‡
I cannot say much about them “FAKERS”
But all I can say that I’m still glad to have people like you around me.

        Thank you for connecting! πŸ™‚
Keep going and sharing such ‘Harsh Reality’ kinda stuffs ✌

        1. Thanks for connecting as well. Glad to meet a fellow genuine blogger! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’› Your posts are awesome, keep up the good work! 😊

  3. I have had my doubts about certain blogs and the content therein.
There’s no point letting it affect you. It does you no good and will only cause you anger and frustration.
Just focus on what you like to do. There are all sorts on here after all.
Glad you have comments on. I tried to leave you one a while back and was a bit disappointed I couldn’t let you know I enjoyed your post.
    Best wishes to you.

    1. I agree. It doesn’t bother me though.
This post was just a funny rant with no intention of hurting anyone, but I guess some people took it the wrong way. Yikes! 😁
Thank you for stopping by and commenting, it really means a lot. I enjoy reading your posts as well! 😊
Best wishes to you too. ☺️

      1. Lol sure that type of thing always happens. People tend to interpret things in different ways.
Your very welcome and thanks for the best wishes and enjoying my posts too 😊
