When you’re ill (and puking) for days in a row,
You realise how impossible it is to stay optimistic all the time.
I give myself a pep talk,
“Stay positive girl, STAY POSITIVE!”
But it doesn’t work.
I’m weak and exhausted,
Overthinking about how my negative thoughts will lead to my downfall.
I now realise one important thing,
SELF-HELP BOOKS AREN’T ALWAYS HELPFUL!
P. S. Seek medical help if you’re depressed, but if you’re not, give yourself a break. You’re human, not a jolly robot walking on a rainbow.
