Intermittent Fasting Milestone.

I had written a post in November, 2018, titled ‘Intermittent Fasting – The Basics‘, in which I explained how intermittent fasting works.

Prior to June, 2018, I had never fasted in my entire life, not even once! Also, I couldn’t go more than 3 hours after a meal, without my blood sugar falling to such a level that I felt weak and dizzy (just like diabetics feel when their sugar falls).

Now that my body has shifted to fat burning, the maximum time I have gone without food is 29 hours! Amazing, right?

It’s been a year since I started doing Intermittent Fasting. Yay me!

My insulin sensitivity has increased and I have been able to lose a lot of weight in a very short time. The best part is I neither joined a gym, nor consulted a dietician.

I’ve posted many progress photos in other posts. Here’s a progress photo I’ve not posted before :

I’m really proud of myself (not boasting). I’ve always had low self-confidence, and losing weight has solved that issue to a great extent.

Here’s a TED Talk on Intermittent Fasting which I found really interesting, and it’s very easy to understand :

You can check out my other ‘Health & Weight Loss’ posts here.

P. S. The ‘Intermittent Fasting – The Basics’ post I mentioned above, is one I’m really proud of, because it’s professional (unlike my other posts, haha) and it took me nearly 4 hours to write and edit.

I hope to write more such posts soon, in order to educate people on various topics of health and weight loss, on which I have researched in great detail in the past year.

I’m neither a doctor, nor a dietician, and I speak only from experience.

Thank you for reading! Stay blessed!
